a5c7b9f00b Sok-woo, a father with not much time for his daughter, Soo-ahn, are boarding the KTX, a fast train that shall bring them from Seoul to Busan. But during their journey, the apocalypse begins, and most of the earth&#39;s population become flesh craving zombies. While the KTX is shooting towards Busan, the passenger&#39;s fight for their families and lives against the zombies - and each other. The investment manager Seok-woo is a divorced man that lives in Seoul, with his daughter, Soo-an, and his mother. Seok-woo is a selfish man and neglects Soo-an, who misses her mother that lives in Busan. On Soo-an&#39;s birthday, she asks to visit her mother, and Seok-woo travels with her with the intention of returning after lunch. They board the fast train KTX, but a sick woman also boards another car. During the journey, the woman attacks a member of the train staff and soon all the passengers in the car are attacked, turning into zombies. Seok-woo realizes that there is a zombie outbreak in South Korea, and together with the passenger Sang-hwa, who is traveling with his pregnant wife Seong-kyeong, they isolate the safe front cars from the infected ones. Along their journey, the non-infected passengers have to fight the zombies and the selfishness of their fellow human beings. I&#39;m really happy with this thriller/action/horror zombie Korean flick Train to Busan, its really different from Hollywood zombie movie that we normally used to, with it new style of terrorizing the audience you can feel its thrill from beginning until the end. Unlike in American counterpart where the scare factor are heavily dependent on graphics ( blowing zombies brains, victims eaten alive with their insides hanging out on their tummy , explosion , etc) TTB zombies looks like just wounded people with seizure and cataract (but they bites!) which is refreshing. Actually Its funny that even some of them are already infected, they still good looking! I don&#39;t know if that&#39;s a good thing or a biggest flaw for a zombie flick. After I watched it, I suddenly have urge to binge on zombie themed movies. So I learned that TTB MIGHT similar to quarantine where people trap inside airplane instead! (kind of) and there&#39;s a kid too. Is possible to have a sequel &quot;Plane to Busan&quot;? Because I feel we need a closure for this wonderfully made zombie thriller. If you&#39;re zombie fan you certainly don&#39;t want to miss this masterpiece! This movie, were actually quite refreshing in a way. Sure there has been hundreds of &quot;zombie-like&quot; movies. This one were a bit different yet again, but Korean, and also a different setting all together. The movie does contain all the cliché character types of a zombie movie. But they were very dynamic and all of the main characters seemed like they did perform well in their roles. <br/><br/>Even without subtitles I enjoyed the movie, and still understood the plot, but I would have preferred subtitles to understand all the conversations.<br/><br/>The train idea, actually worked really well, and made for some interesting sequences, with drama and a claustrophobic feel. Most of the scenarios seemed plausible, but there were a couple of times where I think the CGI were unrealistic, but surely put in there for a more dramatic feel. I think the &quot;passive bystander&quot; suspense, were a bit overused, maybe again to try and draw on the drama. Other than that, the movie were overall quite well done. For almost 45 minutes, Yeon Sang-ho’s Train to Busan is on pace to become the best, most urgent zombie movie since “28 Days Later.” And then — at once both figuratively and literally — this broad Korean blockbuster derails in slow-motion, sliding off the tracks and bursting into a hot mess of generic moments and digital fire.
